Project aim:
The strategic aim of CISTRANA is to achieve coordination of national ICT programmes with each other and with European RTD programmes in order to improve the impact of all RTD efforts in Europe. CISTRANA is paving the way for the implementation of transnational research activities by the development of a map of the national research landscape in IST; the identification of key research topics where cooperation is essential; the establishment of methodologies and procedures to set up transnational coordination initiatives.
