Project aim:
The main objective of CLOCK is to bring together stakeholders in Collaborative Working Environments (CWE) to develop a framework for CWE services, software and systems. These will be the key elements for the foundation of the Large Technology Initiative in CWE that CLOCK aims to set in motion. This involves the coordination of groups of experts collaborating to develop a roadmap on CWE issues.

CLOCK will also focus on increasing the visibility and awareness of research in collaborative working environments, in particular at the research policy level.

In addition, CLOCK will analyze existing national activities with respect to target groups, participation, instruments and study barriers for trans-national co-operation. CLOCK will also focus on future strategies for national R&D programme activities in Europe based on integrating existing background studies, fill in gaps in the existing material, and compare it to extra-EU activities.
